If you have breasts - you need to do your monthly breast exams!
Yes that goes for the guys you know who look like they need a bra!
We here at BCDIY want to be on the cutting edge of finding breast cancer in young women and guys.. Don't be afraid -- we don't think that you have breast cancer, but we need you to be aware that it is SO IMPORTANT for you to begin to do monthly breast exams NOW! Why? because we want you to learn what is NORMAL for your breasts! Go to our Self Exam Video and learn how and what time of the month to do it. We want you to be able to recognize when something that was not there before suddenly appears. Most times it is not breast cancer - but if you are aware that there is something there that was not there last exam, bring it to your doctors attention. We are not here to scare you, we are here to make you aware, and keep you healthy.
Foundations for a healthy life begin in childhood. However, there are many factors that become the makeup of your health: your family history, your ethnic background, what you eat, how much you exercise, along with a multitude of other things. All of these determine how your body will develop over time and how you challenge any problems that arise.
If you think you have a medical problem, please talk with someone about it. The longer you wait, the harder it will be for a medical professional to help you.
Above all...you are not alone!
